Fusion Preschool Academy opened the doors of its first location on Mary Avenue, Olivehurst in November 2006 with assistance from the Yuba County CDBG Revolving Loan Program administered by Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation. They have been rapidly growing ever since, opening a second location on Live Oak Blvd. in Yuba City in 2008 and a third location on B Street in Marysville in 2011.

In 2011, Dr. Nancy Chege celebrated the fifth anniversary of her successful private, physician owned and operated outpatient medical imaging center. She built from scratch, what is now a state-of-the art medical imaging center offering the latest technologies in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Arthrograms and Steroid Injections/Joint Pain Relief and Biopsies. Always a leader in cutting edge technology, the success of the center has resulted in the creation of 14 full/part-time employees.

Calolea Olive Oil, owned by Mike and Monica Keller, has been providing award-winning olive oils to the Yuba-Sutter community since 2000 but they will be celebrating another milestone in their business when they host the grand opening of their new tasting room. The Keller’s began work on their tasting room in 2009 with the assistance of Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation’s loan program and now will be able to share their labor of love with the community.
