The Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation is presenting “Showcase Yuba-Sutter”, a one-day business and development conference focusing on investment opportunities in Yuba and Sutter County.

Forbes Magazine 2001, named the Yuba-Sutter area one of the top ten best rural places to do business in the nation. This is quite a switch from 1985 and 1986 when it was named the worst place in the nation to live by Rand McNally and Money magazine.

There is currently $10 billion in both public and private development projects scheduled over the next ten years in the region. Key projects include; the 10,500-acre South Sutter County Industrial/Commercial Reserve, the Plumas Lake Residential Development - a 12,000-unit housing project, a $50 million hospital expansion project and the $1 billion Yuba County Sports and Entertainment zone. Learn about the Yuba City General Plan update and the  ad development and business opportunities it will provide.

Come and learn from elected officials and city and county administrators along with their staff about the $10-billion proposed, planned and permitted projects scheduled over the next 10 years in the region. Hear from local agencies and service providers such as education, public transportation, utilities providers and others on what they are working on together to maintain the region as one of the finest rural communities in the nation to do business.

This is the premier event for developers, real estate brokers, site-location consultants, builders, financiers, architects and engineers to gain knowledge of the dramatic changes ahead for the region.
