eCON 101 is the Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation's theme for High Performance Economic Development.  HPED provides real time response to the needs of a community and its customers.  It starts with formulating new and more effective economic strategies, tools, and policies.  High Performance Economic Development also provides a comprehensive approach towards diversification, sustainability and globalization of an economy.

In the case of the Yuba-Sutter region, it means the use of a variety of programs and services provided by a litany of different organizations to help create a economic environment that helps businesses and individuals succeed. 

YSEDC is the region's lead organization that mobilizes a real time response by enlisting the array of services provided by these organizations.  These include but are not limited to technical and financial assistance, educational programs, e.g., formal, vo-tech and on the job training.  Additionally it involves on-going policy and regulatory reviews to ensure the region's economy and businesses succeed.
